Our staff is certified by the Bureau sober house ma of Substance Abuse, CCRI, and other recovery Community classes. Living in one of our sober houses aids the sometimes difficult transition of reentering the community as a newly sober person.
How long do people live in a sober living house?
In general, individuals may stay in sober living homes as long as they want to if they continue to follow the house rules. Substance abuse treatment programs may follow a continuum of care that provides for a step-down approach as individuals progress during recovery.

At Sober House, Inc. we help residents grow through 12-step meetings, goal-setting, spiritual growth, giving back to the community and compassion. We offer you recovery support in a safe, judgment-free environment, so you can always rest assured you are getting the help you need from people with experience. Funds are used for rental vouchers to pay weekly rent to certified sober homes. Sober Surroundings is a sober community dedicated to providing affordable sober living. The Pilot Program to Help Individuals in Recovery from a Substance Use Disorder Become Stably Housed (Recovery Housing Program), was authorized under Section 8071 of the Support for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act in 2020.

The Recovery Housing Program (RHP) allows states to provide stable, transitional housing for individuals in recovery from a substance-use disorder. Sober Surroundings is a sober home only and we do not provide addiction services or addiction treatment of any kind. Studies confirm that the absence of a stable, alcohol and drug free living environment is a monumental obstacle to maintained sobriety for even the most motivated individuals (see the latest study here).

The amenities provided by a sober living home can affect its cost. The amenities that many sober living homes can offer may include private rooms, fitness centers, or recreational activities. The more amenities that a sober living house can offer, the higher the costs will be.
